SEMI & PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
My philosophy is not to 'fix' things, but that I teach you ways to help yourself feel better in your body through your yoga practice. In my years as a yoga teacher, I have supported and aided students in modifying for concerns such as fibromyalgia, back pain/disc herniation, spondylolisthesis and scoliosis, arthritis and osteoporosis, joint replacement/repair, carpel-tunnel syndrome and other repetitive strain injuries.
Format - One-on-one or up to 3 people (larger than 3 is a class format).
Locations - Studio, gym, office or home in Philadelphia.
Scheduling - I am currently accepting new clients Monday - Friday before 5 p.m.
Duration - Lessons 60-120 minutes.
Gift - Weekly private clients are invited my gentle yoga classes for free.
Trusting your wisdom
Initial detailed intake and discussion with further inquiry at each lesson.
Each lesson is tailored to meet your needs, interests and progress (i.e, balance or core strength).
Learn varied accessible, relevant practices for self-awareness to integrate awareness into daily life (i.e. coming up and down from the floor, working at a desk etc.).
Practice of patience
I will teach you poses and practices that you will repeat, which will progress over time to be more challenging or dynamic.
Through these, you will develop not only strength, confidence, and flexibility, but also patience and self-compassion.
I believe that wellness happens wholistically as a collective of experiences, practices and people in our lives.
I enjoy collaborating with personal trainers, physical therapist and doctors when asked.
I am always happy to refer clients to other practitioners and colleagues I know and/or have worked with in yoga, massage, acupuncture, personal training, counseling, physical therapy, etc.
